A rare beauty is this oval brilliant cut untreated blue green tanzanite that weighs 1.47 carats and is certified by AIGS (Asian Institute of Gemological Science) as natural zoisite (tanzanite). The oval stone elicits a strong primary teal color with both blues and greens noted independently under varied lighting conditions.
The untreated blue-green tanzanite has excellent clarity and outstanding bright colorful brilliance. Prong set the blue green tanzanite is joined by a pair of trilliant cut rich periwinkle colored tanzanite (heated) that are rated top of the line for their rich color, excellent faceting and clarity and wonderful brilliance.
These stones have strong trichroic properties thereby exhibiting blue, purple and pink flashes of brilliance. The trilliant pair weighs 0.50 carats total and measure 4.0 mm each.
